At Athens Support Services, we believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling life. We are dedicated to helping our clients modify negative behaviors that cause issues in their lives and encourage positive behaviors that promote healthy relationships and overall well-being. Our team provides a variety of psychoeducational and support services, tailored to help our clients increase their skills and achieve their goals. We are passionate about the success of our clients, and we do everything in our power to provide them with the necessary skills and resources to improve their lives.
Owner, Mrs. Valarie Norwood-Wright
Mrs. Valarie Norwood-Wright is a licensed Master Social Worker, with decades of experience across the helping professions. She is a certified Anger Management Specialist and Family Violence Intervention Program (FVIP) Facilitator. She also maintains an active Georgia Peace Officer certification, from her 10-year career in Law Enforcement. Now serving as a School Social Worker, Mrs. Norwood-Wright is well equipped to help others overcome many challenges they face.
